The Bylaws as adopted June, 2002, "Duties of Officers," state:

The Vice President shall discharge the duties of the office of the President in the absence of the President and President-Elect; shall be a member of the Board of Directors; and shall be the chairman of the Program Committee. The program committee shall organize conferences and workshops in conjunction with the Board of Directors.

In addition to the current Bylaws and to the Job Description for All Elected and Appointed Members of the Board as described in Page 1.00 of this section, the Vice President shall:

  1. Select a committee to aid in the planning of conferences and other workshops.
  2. Be responsible for engaging speakers/presenters for all conferences.
  3. Work with BASA representative to ensure the success of the Secretary /Administrator conference.
  4. be responsible for drafting and printing of conference brochures and attendance certificates for PSP documentation.
  5. Request PSP point value for each conference from the NAEOP Association. This value will then be shown on each participant’s certificate.
  6. Send a thank-you to conference presenters.
  7. Be responsible for handouts for conference packets-agenda, participant list, receipts for payment, attendance certificates, etc.
  8. Work with hotel in securing rates and meals where needed. Also work with the hotel and president-elect for installation banquet preparation.
  9. Must keep an accurate accounting of all conference expenses.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned by the president and/or the Board of Directors.
