  F. Membership Committee: The Membership Committee shall be in charge of registration of members at regular meetings if requested to do so; shall pass on the eligibility of members to vote; shall be responsible for promoting membership; shall issue Bylaws to new members; shall work closely with the National Association of Educational Office Professionals (NAEOP) State Membership Chairman; and shall keep an up to date list of Association members. One member of the Membership Committee shall be elected by the Advisory Council. The Membership Committee Chair shall be the Director of Membership.
  G. NAEOP State Membership Committee: The NAEOP State Membership Committee Chair shall be liaison officer with NAEOP for the Association; shall be responsible for potential NAEOP members and shall keep an up to date list of paid NAEOP members; shall be ready to assist local associations; and shall work closely with the President, Director of Membership, and Affiliations Committee Chair. The NAEOP State Membership Committee Chair shall be appointed by the President.
  H. Nominations and Elections Committee: The Nominations and Elections Committee shall secure a slate of officers to present to the membership by printed ballot (See Article VIII). The Director of Nominations and Elections shall serve as Nominations and Elections Committee Chair. Two members of the Nominations and Elections Committee shall be elected by the Advisory Council.
  I. Professional Standards Program (PSP) Committee: The Professional Standards Program Committee Chair shall have PSP applications and brochures available. The Professional Standards Program Committee Chair shall be appointed by the President. One member of the Professional Standards Program Committee shall be elected by the Advisory Council.
  J. Program Committee: The Program Committee shall organize conferences and workshops in conjunction with the Board of Directors. The Program Committee Chair shall be the Vice President.
  K. Publications Committee: The Publications Committee Chair shall be the Editor of and be responsible for publishing The Buckeye Bulletin. This newsletter shall be published quarterly and sent to all members of EOPO and all honorary members. A copy shall be sent to the NAEOP (NES Connector), the NAEOP Northeast Area Director, and the Alliances. The Publications Committee shall submit articles, pictures, and dates of conferences/meetings to the NES. The Publications Committee Chair/Editor shall be appointed by the President.
  L. Scholarship Committee: The Scholarship Committee, by a majority vote, shall select the final scholarship recipient(s) based on the guidelines established by NAEOP. The Scholarship Committee shall recommend the final scholarship candidate(s) to the Board of Directors for approval. The scholarship(s) to be awarded shall be established annually in the budget as approved by the Board of Directors. In the event of a tie, the final selection shall be determined by a vote of the Board of Directors. The names of the scholarships are as follows: Lila M. Van Sweringen Student Scholarship and the Martha L. Leach Member Scholarship. Scholarship monies will be paid to the recipient(s) only upon proof of admission to an institution of higher learning. The state scholarship recipient(s) shall receive a one year paid membership to the Association. The Scholarship Committee shall be appointed by the President.
